A difficult start for the SerbianBerretini made his debut in this Grand Slam final with tremendous class. The path to victory was his goal, and this was immediately reflected in his play. It seemed like a difficult game for the Serb, but ultimately, the Italian proved no problem. It still turned into a magnificent rally between the two men, with Djokovic taking the lead at one point. The Italian had to use every corner of the court to intercept Djokovic's shots, and he did so effectively. Ultimately, the Serb proved to be the better of him, closing out the magnificent match with a third match point and another well-deserved sixth Grand Slam title. |
